I recently had the pleasure of diving with the friendly people at Ogden Point....they were wonderful!!!! It was my first time cold water diving and I'm a little on the heavy side. They took such great care of me and were very encouraging, paying personal attention to my comfort and safety. I would recommend them highly.

While stationed at CFB Esquimalt I had the pleasure of diving at the Ogden Point Breakwater. Coming form Newfoundland I brought most of my own equipment with the exception of tanks and weights. When I first entered the dive shop I was met by Erin and Janine. I asked them if it they were able to rent a set of double tanks to me for a dive on the Breakwater. I was informed that this was not a problem, and that I could pick up my tanks and dive the next day. I came to the shop the next day and found a dive buddy for the 10 am pick up dive, and had my first of many dives on the Breakwater. During my stay in the Victoria area I made many dives on the breakwater and also participated in dives on race rocks the as well as the wrecks of HMCS Mackenzie and the G.B. Church.

The staff of the Ogden Point Dive Center is very personable and I consider them all to be close friends. The relaxed, diver friendly atmosphere that exists at the Ogden Point Dive Center should be an example for all dive shops everywhere. The staff are knowledgeable in a number of different subject areas including gear configurations, diving techniques, diving locations, gear servicing and product pricing. Erin, Brad and Janine were always willing to entertain conservations regarding different diving theory or stories of there many diving experiences.
The staff of the Ogden Point Dive Center has definitely made a great impression on me and my diving has improved as a result of knowing these people. I have thoroughly enjoyed diving here this summer and hope that I can return one day.

Since recertifying 2 years ago through the Ogden Point Dive Centre, I have a renewed love of scuba diving. Erin and his whole team at the centre have played an active role in my recertification and encouraged me to continue to develop my skills through the Advanced, Emergency First Responder and Rescue Diver courses. I now have my eye on Dive Master and can't wait to get started. Everyone at the centre are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the charters are always great fun! In fact, I find myself drawn to the shop even on days when I don't plan on diving there....nothing like a good laugh with friends to start or end your day! Thanks to Erin and the gang for getting me back where I belong.....in the water!!
